Isaac graduated from Weber State University's Preschool today! (sniff, sniff) He will be attending for another week, but today was the little end-of-the-year program. He was so cute! They performed sign language to many songs and Isaac was a Cheetah in the "Animal Rompus".

Funny Stories of The Week:
At the grocery store on Saturday, a demonstrator handed me a sample of cheese chips and I said, "Thank You." Daphne looked at me and said, " I like how you used your manners, Mom."

The other day Isaac said, "Hey Mom, Do you know what's gross about penguins? I reluctantly answered, "What?" Isaac's eyes lit up and he said, "The Mommies barf up their food into the babies mouths!" mmmm... the joy of having a son! - His new favorite show is Planet Earth and he is sharing even more fantastic facts with us all the time!

Three Marys

So, Tuesday morning after Easter I was getting ready for work and I could hear, through the baby monitor, Daphne waking up in her room. She was singing Mary had a Little Lamb. Then it sounded like she was singing Jesus Loves Me and Mary Had A Little Lamb at the same time. I went into her room and said, "What are you talking about Daph?" and she said, "There are 3 Marys!" and then she began singing, "Mary had a Little Lamb, Little Lamb, Little Lamb (singing in her own tune) and Jesus died and his body was in the tomb, and Mary Magalum found him, and Mary is in Isaac's class." Then, now speaking, " See? There's 3 Marys!" It was hysterical and impressive and darling all at the same time. I ran and got the video camera and tried to get her to do it again, but it wasn't quite the same the second time around. I just am so impressed with her grasping that much of the Easter Story at her tender age, at her connecting the 3 Marys she has heard of and then putting it all into a song! She is absolutely brilliant!

LIPS

Tuesday morning we were getting ready for school and Daphne was sitting on the counter next to my purse. I ran upstairs to grab my teacher bag and I came back to find Daphne like this, who said " I need more Lips!"

Our First House- part two

Okay, here is the outdoor view of our first home. I have also included a picture of the view from our back porch. While I love looking out at the mountains while I eat breakfast, our new home will have a decent view of the mountains as well and we will have more room and better schools for our children! I really do love this house, but the time has come to move on.

Easter 2007

Here are my precious darlings on Easter. Don't they look cute? They had sooo much fun and Daphne has been telling everyone about all the eggs and where she found each of them! Earlier this week we were grocery shopping and I bought candy and little plastic eggs. The kids were asking what we would do with them and I told them that Daddy would put the candy in the eggs and then hide them in Nanny's Yard so that you can go find them! They were so excited. When we got to the checkstand, Isaac was telling the cashier the whole story about the eggs and she said, "Are you excited for Easter?" Isaac said, "Yes! and I'm going to get a chocolate bunny!" The cashier was enthusiastic and responded appropriately, then after a moment of silence Isaac said, "Yea, but mostly it's about Jesus." I could have just kissed his face!
