Long Beach

For our last day in California, we decided to have a leisurely day at the beach! We needed a little rest and relaxation after our Disney Days! We had hoped to have much better weather at this beach in Southern California than we did at Snata Cruz. Unfortunately, it was cool and very windy, which made things less than ideal. Matt was clever and set up our little camp right next to these rocks so that they could shelter us from the wind.

Isaac and Daphne were a little tentative to get in the water, but they ventured out anyway!!

While Matt and the kids were playing in the water, Tori decided to chase the seagulls:

We had such a wonderful time in California! I am so grateful we had the opportunity to see so much and do so many things together as a family. We have been so blessed to be able to travel as much as we have and we hope that we have created lots of memories for our precious children. Hopefully our next road trip (to Texas) will be as calm and safe and happy and peaceful as this one!
