Although our activities often look like all smiles, I thought I would share with you the truth. As hard as we try to make it fun and spiritual for everyone, Sometimes this is the best picture you can get for the night:
For our activity, we stuffed and addressed Christmas Cards! The children each chose 2 friends to whom they would like to send cards. They wrote messages and addressed them. We actually had lots of fun, you just can't tell from the pictures!Our song for tonight was When Joseph went to Bethlehem.
Our scripture is the one we chose for our Christmas cards this year, Isaiah 9:6:
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
If we're really lucky, though, I put them in bed and check on them later to find this:
